After a Field of Love engagement with Diana and Jake a few months ago, I was pretty psyched to come to their wedding. If anything, the engagement session was so dreamy – I couldn’t wait to see the couple finally kiss as husband and wife!
Here’s Diana while she was getting ready – so beautiful and happy!
And the back of her dress? So elegant and romantic!
Diana and Jake had the ceremony at the Bell Shoals Baptist Church. The ceremony was attended by friends and family:
I just love how their entourage look – the bridesmaids are so classy and the groomsmen so dashing:
It was a beautiful and solemn event, and I felt really blessed to have been there. There was singing and praise, and I got chills seeing how connected everyone was:
Diana looked so lovely, and the glances that she and Jake gave each other just melted my heart:
And finally, the moment that everyone was waiting for:
At the reception, here’s what greeted me that had me sighing and smiling:
The boys clowning around:
More lovely portraits:
And how cute is this little girl? I love her to bits!
I left Diana and Jake’s wedding so full of warmth and love. These two people devote so much of themselves to each other, and still have a lot left to give to the people around them. I feel lucky to have known them and to have been part of their special day.
So here’s to Diana and Jake: your love story is made for the books. It’s something to tell people about for a long, long time.
“They walked on, without knowing in what direction. There was too much to be thought, and felt, and said, for attention to any other objects.” – Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice
