I may be one of those people who need to work hard to get ahold of their feelings and try not to cry – it’s hard to take photos when my eyes are all blurry! But oh, it is futile to not be swept by all of it, in the end. After all, I am a wedding photographer :)

Lindsey and Ben’s wedding is such a lovely experience for me. Yes, there were tears, and lots of it – but wow, the laughter. It was just so amazing. There was so much joy and happiness, and people were cheering and smiling for the couple. The atmosphere was energizing and light, and every now and then a laugh or a giggle escapes from me because there are just so many good vibes all around.

I know their engagement photos and the teaser I posted last month weren’t enough. So, without further ado, here’s Lindsey and Ben. Welcome to their ever after:

Look at that gorgeous hair. I love looking at it, it’s so whimsical. And Lindsey’s shoes and gown? Very romantic.

More behind-the-scenes as the bride and groom prepare for their big day. Most photos are taken at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. (See Lindsey’s gown in full detail here.):

At the ceremony – people were all smiles. Our hearts are so full of love for Lindsey and Ben. I would like to think it made the day just a little bit brighter :)

Of course, who can forget that sweet moment between Lindsey and her dad? It was one of the most touching moments during the wedding:

What a beautiful bride and groom. Afterwards we had a little photoshoot and some time alone with the family before the wedding reception:

At the reception – slow, sweet dances before rocking out as the night went on! (Also, we had so much fun at the wedding photo station that I set up – go check everybody’s wacky poses!)

P.S. For those who want to see more photos, visit LINDSEY + BEN: EVER AFTER, a website I have created for the couple, and their family and friends.

I absolutely love Jamie! She owns Swank Shindigs, a wedding and event planning service here in Tampa. I’ve been lucky enough to work with her in two of the weddings I photographed, and she’s just adorable and so friendly.

She recently redesigned her website, and I did her headshot:

Isn’t she beautiful? We had a lot of fun! She’s always sweet and funny, and I am not surprised that brides love her as much as I do – maybe more! She’s caring and thoughtful, and would really go the extra mile to make your wedding special. I’ve met a lot of great people through her, and I always look forward to working with her. Jamie has a lot of experience in event planning, and have organized a lot of weddings, receptions, and bridal showers. She also plans and services baby showers, birthday parties, holiday parties and corporate events. You can view a gallery of her works here and inquire about her services here.

She’s very thorough and organized – the perfect fairy godmother to make your dreams come true at the wedding! She will make sure that as a bride, your day will be as stress-free as possible. I have watched her work her magic and all I can say is: she’s fabulous.

Don’t forget to check out Eva + Bryan’s wedding and the teaser for Lindsey+ Ben’s wedding, where Jamie and I worked together :)

I met Laurie of A Piece of Cake at the Perfect Wedding Guide’s Bridal Show. She has great sense of humor and we just hit it off right from the start! She’s very nice and I loved hanging out with her. Her booth was incredible! It was packed! And she had the most delicious cakes.

A Piece of Cake offers a lot of variety from cakes to cupcakes, cookies, candies and other desserts. Laurie also offers edible favors and other confections. There are a lot of flavors to choose from, isn’t that fantastic? What I love about Laurie’s business is that she takes the time to sit with you and discuss your inspiration for the wedding. That way your cake will be a perfect fit to the motif and theme of your special day. She really takes care of her clients, and I just love that about her!

I saw Laurie again at the Perfect Wedding Guide’s luncheon and had another great time. And oh, did I mention – A Piece of Cake was the vendor for one of the weddings that I photographed last March:

Everyday is an opportunity to have a sweet ending, is a phrase that greets you when you visit Laurie’s website. I’m inclined to believe that that’s true! :)

A Piece of Cake is located at 5915 Memorial Highway, Suite #L, Tampa, FL 33615.
