After their super-awesome rehearsal, I was more than excited to shoot their wedding. They were married on the shore of Edisto Island, South Carolina. This location is truly one of my favorite ceremony locations … it was dreamy and serendipitous – everything a beach wedding should be.

Fern’s dress was handmade by her aunt – amazing! The flowers were creatively arranged by her SIL, and the whole beach ensemble looked unscripted and classy. Court wore a Spiderman suit under his white button shirt and dress pants. He said it was a surprise wedding gift from Fern, and they share quite a funny private joke behind it.

As I was photographing the wedding, I can’t help but feel the happiness radiating from the couple. Fern and Court have traveled a lot in their lives, and have gone through a lot of experiences, both happy and painful – and now they finally found a home in each other.
